Any Friday night is cause for celebration! Head outdoors for a glass of wine or craft beer from WECO Bottle & Beer (626 Meeting St. West Columbia, SC) with local food trucks on site or try Savage Craft Ale Works. (430 Center St.). Another place to try, New Brookland Tavern (122 State St.), offers a full bar with friendly service. For a gourmet meal that is just as tasty as it is gorgeous, make a reservation at Black Rooster (201 Meeting St.) rooftop dining with views of the River!

Start your Saturday morning at the Meeting Street Artisan Market, held every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, in the Interactive Art Park, at 425 Meeting Street, West Columbia, SC. You can also take some cool pics for your Instagram page at the Art Park there! There are unique shops you can access from right here, along Meeting and State Streets like State Street Trading Co (134 State St.) and Jaks Essentials soaps (114 State St.) … their lip balm is the best!

While you’re at the Meeting Street Artisan Market, grab some breakfast or brunch at the nearby Café Strudel, The Hideout in Weco, or Primal Gourmet Kitchen. If it’s already lunch time, you might want to head to Zesto West Columbia (504 12th St.). Just look for the giant ice cream cone in the sky. They even have an app and will bring your food curbside! If someone is having a birthday, grab a few cupcakes to take to the park from nearby Buttercream Dreams (1230 C Ave.)

If you’re looking for vintage stuff like vinyl records or mid century modern décor, browse blocks of antiques at Old Mill Antique Mall (310 State St.) or Three Rivers Antiques (615 Meeting St.) and 763 Antique Mall (763 Meeting St.). Search for even more treasures at West Point Coins (132 State St.)
