The summer solstice jazz event will take place in the Koger Center lobby. Tickets are $18 and the seating is general admission. There will be a cash bar so that you can have a glass of wine or a beer while you listen to this traditional jazz concert.
The Carolina Jazz Society has been playing Traditional Jazz in Columbia since 1958 with the mission of fostering interest and enthusiasm in traditional jazz music in the community. The six “regular” house band members are among the very best musicians in South Carolina: Dick Goodwin, Doug Graham, Jim Hall, Bruce Clark, Aletha Jacobs, and Dustin Retzlaff.

Coming to the show? Then stay in West Columbia or Cayce, just a few miles from the Koger Center. We also have a local jazz lounge, Chayz Lounge, as well as other music-friendly cafes and bars.
